WBGO Radio’s “Newark Today” Features Second Installment of “Press, Police, and the Public” Conversations

On Thursday, October 21st, WBGO-FM Radio hosted a special edition of Newark Today produced in collaboration with The New Jersey Society of Professional Journalists for the special series titled The Press The Police and The Public.

Host Michael Hill was joined by Mayor Ras J. Baraka, Public Safety Director Brian O’Hara and NJ Advance Media reporter Rebecca Panico to tackle issues around the intersection of the three with a focus on the push to change state law to allow for the creation of CCRB’s in communities across New Jersey as calls to #defundthepolice continue across the country. Other panelists included community activist Larry Hamm and Mark Bonamo, editor of TapInto.net Newark.
