2025 Press ID Card

This is the NJ-SPJ Press ID Card for 2025. To purchase a Press ID Card, you must be a member of NJ-SPJ.

Description Line

Previously the third line of your NJ Press ID card was the town to which you card was mailed.  Now we allow you to customize the third line to better identify yourself. You can put your beat, such as “Statehouse Reporter” or “NJ Correspondent.”  Or you might put a better locator, such as “Bergen County.” You can also enter "Freelance."

Email Address
We encourage you to provide your personal email address in one of these fields.  SPJ offers special benefits to those whose job is eliminated.  We want to stay in touch with you if that happens.  Please remember that your primary email address will be in the upcoming “Directory of NJ Journalists.”

2025 Laminated Vehicle Cards

  • 2025 NJ Press ID Card holders may order up to three vehicles cards, for both personal and work vehicles.
  • The 2025 Vehicle Card is already protected with thick 10 mil lamination.
  • The vehicle card is 6x9 inches, featuring the word PRESS in letters that are 1.75 inches high, printed directly onto R100 DOT highway reflective tape.

Vehicle Cards are $8.75 apiece if ordered with your NJ Press ID Card.

You must purchase a 2025 Press ID Card to purchase a vehicle card. Orders for vehicle cards without a Press ID card will be delayed while we contact you to arrange a Press ID Card purchase.

Higher postal rates may apply if ordered separately.  Only cardholders may purchase Vehicle Cards. When you purchase more than one, you certify that they are only for your use, in both personal and work vehicles.

Double-Reflective, one-inch "PRESS" Lanyard

If you are a renewal, you may already have a lanyard. You will not need a second one.

If you do not have one, NJ-SPJ’s agreed with the NJ Attorney General to highly recommend that you have one, especially when covering mass protests or law enforcement.
